I don't get it
I just got done watching The Island, and I have to say I don't get it. This movie got a ton of negative flack in the press when it was released, but really, it was pretty entertaining. Nothing new or revolutionary, but it was definitely a three star movie. Ewan McGregor is fun, Scarlett Johansen is brain meltingly hot, and their are some kick ass action scenes. What more do you want in an action flick?

If I remember correctly, most of the flack came from environmentalists. The production destroyed the ecosystem of an entire island. But maybe that was another movie...

I think that was a Leo movie, called The Beach.
